Dates: Saturday October 12th and Sunday October 13th, 2024 Time: 9a - 6p. This includes a ONE hour lunch break each day. CEU's: 16 hours In this Manual Lymph Drainage (MLD) course, you will learn the anatomy and function of the lymphatic system, gaining an understanding of its vital role in immune response and fluid balance. Through practical, hands-on training, you will master the gentle, rhythmic techniques of MLD, which are essential for supporting auto-immune conditions and reducing post-surgical swelling. This knowledge will enable you to seamlessly incorporate MLD into your practice without the need for additional supplies or equipment. This light-touch modality not only benefits your clients but also promotes self-care, helping you sustain your career. The course also covers the identification of contraindications and the development of effective communication skills, equipping you to deliver evidence-based MLD treatments and enhance overall wellness. This class prepares you to work with individuals who have intact lymphatic systems and serves as a prerequisite for the Lymphedema (LE) course. Tables are provided. Bring your own linens.
